Once you have set up multiple users of the application, you can use it simultaneously (at the same time). If you ever make changes to exactly the same data at the same time (like editing the details for the same donor) the user who saves their change first will cause the other user’s displayed data to almost immediately update, to match their changes.

Only one user can issue or reissue receipts at a time, to avoid potential problems with either duplicate or skipped receipt numbers, which must be sequential. Once one user starts into the dialogs for issuing or reissuing receipts, other users will be blocked from doing that until the first user either completes the process, or abandons it by clicking the “x” at the top right of that dialog and confirming that they want to leave the process.
